Sandra Furey

Chartered Physiotherapist

Sandra is a Chartered Physiotherapist originally from Mitchelstown, Co. Cork, with a strong passion for musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy. She completed her undergraduate studies at University College Cork, where she studied Biological and Chemical Sciences, majoring in Physiology, before going on to complete her Master’s in Physiotherapy at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh.

From early on in her training, Sandra had a keen interest in how the body works and moves, alongside a lifelong involvement in sport. While keeping an open mind across all areas of physiotherapy, her musculoskeletal placement in Scotland and sports medicine elective placement at UPMC Cork reinforced her desire to pursue a career in MSK and sports rehabilitation.

Sandra has a particular interest in sporting injuries and orthopaedic conditions, and she is passionate about providing evidence-based, individualised treatment to help patients return to activity safely and confidently.
